Works the way you already work
In a general trade shop: you and Nizro
- You
Photograph the supplier's note with your phone.
NizroIt reads the lines and matches them to your items, shows you every line to check before you receive, then updates quantity, cost and the average.
A trader feature, switched on when asked - You
Sell at the till.
NizroIt writes the tax invoice in Arabic or English, numbers it, posts its entry and moves the stock.
- You
Count the drawer at the end of the day.
NizroIt computes what should be in it and records the difference, who closed and when.
- You
Sell on credit.
NizroIt holds a sale over the customer's limit for your one-tap release, and tells you who owes you and for how long.
A trader feature, switched on when asked - You
Take the customer's cheque.
NizroIt follows it in the cheque register, reminds you what falls due this week, and endorses it to a supplier in one sheet.

What a general trading shop gets
The till: one screen for every kind of shop
Search on one side, the cart on the other and the total pinned at the bottom.
- Park a sale when the customer has to fetch a card, and come back to it later
- Split the payment across methods, each with its own amount, so the day's cash and card totals match in the reports with no side calculation
- A customer is optional: without one the sale is recorded as a walk-in
- If you attach a customer, the sale needs the customer's phone number or a recorded refusal, because the invoice is sent on WhatsApp
- Nizro does not stop you selling below cost. That decision is yours
The VAT invoice
VAT is worked out on each line, and the invoice prints in Arabic or English.
- The tax shows on the invoice line by line, with a sequential number that never repeats
- Revenue is booked net and the tax goes to its own account, so your profit is not inflated by tax
- If the shop sets a minimum deposit percentage, the payment screen shows it, and the balance is booked as owed by the customer and collected later
Items, services and stock by lot
An item carries a quantity, and a service never does.
- Every item has a SKU, a name, a price and a category. Some carry a quantity on the shelf and some do not
- Things you buy for yourself, like packing bags, stay off the till and leave stock through a write-off
- When goods arrive you record the quantity, the unit cost and the expiry date if the category asks for one, and the average cost updates
- The lot register is sorted by expiry, and a lot expiring within 90 days shows in a warning colour
- Damaged goods, samples, gifts and count differences leave stock through a numbered write-off with a written reason
Fields for your own trade
You pick your trade's kit from ten, so your categories and fields arrive ready, and the Business Owner adds up to 20 fields of your own in Arabic and English, such as a model number, a colour, a session length or a warranty date.
- General trading has no ready-made vocabulary the way a specialist trade does, so the fields are your own, starting from a kit such as phones and electronics, industrial supplies or auto parts
- Each field has a type: text, number, date, yes or no, or a choice list
- Up to 3 of them can be variant axes, such as colour and size, to group variants under one model
- The fields have rules that work while you type: a field shows for one category, is required, a list follows another field, a value is calculated, and a number such as an IMEI is never repeated on two products
Purchasing and suppliers
A purchase order, an approval, receiving and then the supplier's bill.
- There are three ways to buy: a running cost with no goods for resale, a direct purchase with the invoice already in hand, and a formal purchase order
- A purchase order goes for approval if it passes the limit you set
- At receiving you record what arrived and what was rejected, and you cannot receive more than was ordered
- The supplier's bill carries the supplier's own number and date, and cannot be entered twice
- Nizro compares the bill with the order and the goods received, or with the order alone
- Posting the bill to the books and paying the supplier belong to a branch manager or above. Every supplier has a statement of account
The till drawer, the books and payroll
At close Nizro works out what should be in the drawer, and you enter what you counted.
- The difference is recorded
- Every sale, purchase and expense posts to the right entry when the accounts module is on
- The trial balance, income statement and balance sheet come from the same books
- Every user has permissions and every action carries the name of the person who did it
- Payroll follows Oman rules: Social Protection Fund, end of service and the Wage Protection System file
Goods and services
An item with a quantity and a service without one, on one invoice
A general trading shop does not sell one kind of thing. You sell both on one sale screen and one invoice.
An item with a quantity
A piece off the shelf
- The quantity on the shelf
- The lot and the expiry date, if the category asks for one
- The average cost updates at goods-in
- Stock moves with every sale
A service without a quantity
A photography session or an hour of repair
- It never carries a quantity
- No stock moves when it is sold
A day in your shop with Nizro

Questions everyone asks
Does it suit a shop that sells goods and services together?
Yes. An item with a quantity moves stock with each sale, and a service never carries a quantity. Both go through the same till and the same invoice.
Does it issue a VAT invoice in Arabic?
Yes. The invoice prints in Arabic or English, with VAT on every line and a sequential number that never repeats.
Does it track expiry dates?
Yes. You record the expiry date at goods-in when the category asks for one, and a lot expiring within 90 days shows in a warning colour. An expired lot leaves stock through a write-off.
Can I issue purchase orders with approvals?
Yes. A purchase order goes for approval if it passes the limit you set, then receiving, then the supplier's bill, then payment. Every supplier has a statement of account.
Can I switch on features for stock, cheques and credit?
Yes. Nizro offers the features of your trade to your business, and the Business Owner switches each one on or off (some need another first: the wanted book needs the stock page). They are the stock page as money and days, goods received from history and from a photo of the delivery note, money chains from quote to cleared cheque, a credit limit for each customer, a cheque register where a customer's cheque can be handed to a supplier, a supplier page that shows what you owe and when, and a wanted book of what customers asked for at the till. Landed cost joins the goods-in sheet, and a customer aging page needs no switch. The live sync with Salla, Zid or an Instagram shop is a paid feature: Nizro switches it on at your request, and its price is on request.
Is it ready for e-invoicing in Oman?
A Nizro invoice is structured today and the system is built to connect to Fawtara. Decision No. 189/2026 makes it mandatory from 1 April 2027 for businesses with annual supplies above OMR 5 million and from 1 October 2027 for every other VAT registered business. Confirm your own date with the Tax Authority.
I work in Zoho, Odoo, Salla, Zid or Daftra. Do I type everything again?
No. Your products, customers, suppliers and their balances move from a file you export from your system, by connecting your account, or you send us the file on WhatsApp and we talk with you about moving it. You pick your trade's kit, and your categories and fields arrive ready.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. 30 days free, no payment card. Then talk to us: we learn about your business and send you a written quote. Press Request a quote whenever you like.
Where is my data kept, and is it protected?
Nizro runs on Supabase: data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the provider holds SOC 2 Type 2. The data centre today is in Mumbai, India. On request, Nizro can be hosted inside Oman or on your own business servers.
