Why we built it
A shop in Oman runs on a lot of paper today: a notebook for who owes what, invoices written by hand, and accounts the accountant adds up at the end of the month. We built Nizro to put all of it in one place. The tax invoice comes out of the sale itself, the drawer closes with its difference, and every debt shows under the customer's name. In the evening you open your phone and see your shop's day as it was recorded.
Where does the name Nizro come from?
From NiZrO3, nickel zirconate: nickel, zirconium and oxygen in one simple structure, a material researchers describe as multi-functional.
We liked the idea: one steady base that serves more than one purpose. That is what we built: one system for every kind of trade, on the same base, with each trade's setup ready.
In Arabic the name is written نِزرو.
